Erik is a teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood.
He applied just recently for a job as a sales person. 100 other young people applied for the same job.
Everybody knows that this is almost a hopeless task. But he got an interview and 5 of the 100 were chosen to attend a training seminar. Erik was one of them.
At the end of the seminar they had to present a specialized speech about the issues of the training and improvise a sales talk.
Erik was the only one who held the speech without consulting notes and got the job.
He says: “I know the Lord was by my side. In church we learn to prepare talks and to converse open and free with each other and that training is the most valuable one when you are out there looking for a job. I have a firm testimony that what we learn in church is what helps us through life.”
